Make a Difference
We rely on the generosity of people in the community to support our annual programming. Our Caring Arts program touches hundreds of people with cancer of all ages and from all walks of life from throughout the Chicago area. There are a number of ways for you to help.

Make a donation OR click the Donate button at tope of this page to donate online in any amount, or to make a tribute gift for a loved one touched by cancer. An acknowledgement will be sent to you with a card to forward to them. Mail a check payable to Caring Arts Foundation to 301 S. Lombard Ave., Oak Park, IL 60302 OR you can click on the Donate button and donate online with your credit card via Paypal. We are a registered charity, so your donation is tax-deductible. Type the name of your honoree in the memo box when donating.

Art supplies and materials for our program, or raffle or auction items for one of our fundraising events are also greatly appreciated.

Workplace & other giving  Many workplace giving programs, such as United Way, allow you to designate a local charity of your choice to receive your donation. If you participate in such a program, please consider designating Caring Arts Foundation as your charity choice. Matching Fund Programs are also a great way to boost your giving dollars.

Legacy Giving  If you know someone who has passed away from cancer, consider a legacy donation to Caring Arts Foundation as a way to honor their memory. We will be happy to provide donor cards to facilitate and an acknowledgement of all donations. Consider including a gift to Caring Arts Foundation in your will or estate planning. Legacy giving can make an enduring gift that will change lives. Talk to your attorney or financial advisor for ways to leave a lasting legacy.

Corporate Sponsors  Support from local organizations is vital to our continued success. Make a grant through a corporate foundation, sponsor our program or one of our events, or donate a raffle or auction item. A gift of $1000 or more will qualify you as a program or event sponsor. Your company will be recognized on our website and invited to our annual Arts in a Roadhouse event.

For more information on opportunities to give, contact Barbara Weigand at the Foundation office at 708-386-9325 or email us.

“We just got the photos of our two boys that were taken at Children’s Hospital. My older son hadn't had his class picture taken so it may take the place of those. Thank you so much. What a gift!

— Karen Witek, cancer patient’s mom

“Thank you for the generous work you do with people in cancer treatment. Twice I’ve had the inspiring experience of your artist’s encouragement while receiving chemotherapy. I hope that you will continue your work to help others to express themselves through the arts.

— Sheree Oden, cancer patient

“I am a patient at University of Chicago Hospital. I wanted to thank you for the mini concert I was so fortunate to hear in my room last week. The Recreational Therapist here at the hospital mentioned about the musicians coming to play. I was so looking forward to it but, as luck would have it, I had a treatment scheduled and missed the performance.  I was taken by surprise when they showed up in my room a short time later. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed them. They were terrific musicians and the songs were all of my personal favorites. I know I will never forget it.”

— Bob Griegel, patient

“Thank you so much for the incredible photos that were taken of my children at the hospital. I could not believe how great the photos came out, and I was awed at the package we received. I will be able to share these with our family. I will treasure them!!! The photographers were not only patient but so talented!! My daughter was so happy too. Thank you so much for this wonderful gift! May you be able to continue to bring joy to so many people and may all your efforts be blessed."

— Jenny Nadoff, cancer patient’s mom
